TV1 France just published a documentary about the work of my choreographer Evelyne-Krüger Maitrel and me. We have by now worked together on several films and live performances. As a writer and director I very thankful for our collaboration.
TV France created a wonderful documentary about our work on the film and live-performance “Sacre du Printemps” from composer Strawinsky as well as our award winning film “Dancing with Monsters”. I have been working on these and more projects as a writer and director together with the choreographer Evelyne Krüger-Maitrel. We are creating “Sacre du Printemps” for the National Philharmonic Orchestra RLP (premiere in 2022). We are working together with our principal dancer Katharina Geyer as well as a team of 40 dancers, actors and film-crew members. Our film “Dancing with Monsters” was presented on various film festivals in Europe, USA, Asia, Russia and the Middle East. It won multiple awards such as the award for the best script at the Mostra Cinema Taranto Filmfestival. Evelyne Krüger-Maitrel further also worked on films for German TV channel SWR. The documentary from TV1 shows our work together and also other stations in the life of Evelyne Krüger-Maitrel - her experience as a dancer and teacher.
