“Dancing with Monsters” is being screened at the Chicago Feminist Film Festival, as well as at the Breaking8 Film Festival and the MoveIt Festival in Italy. How wonderful that it is reaching people across borders!
It's been a really great festival tour for Dancing with Monsters, and it's still going strong! The film is now showing in the US and at other festivals in Europe. As the writer and director, I'm especially thrilled that our story is resonating with people across national borders. “Dance with Monsters” is screening at the Chicago Feminist Film Festival: “The Festival showcases independent film and aims to address issues of gender, sexuality, race, and other forms of inequality often missing from mainstream media. The overarching assumption behind the festival is that art plays a vital role in bringing people together and encouraging them to think deeply about issues of equality and social justice.” The film also screened at the renowned Breaking8 dance film festival in Italy: “Breaking 8 is breaking free from the conventional boundaries of cinema and dance to research new expressive languages, exploring dance and images beyond the enclosed space of theaters.” And finally, “Dancing with Monsters” is also screening at the MoveIt Film Festival at the innovative Farm Cultural Park cultural center in Italy.
