The feature film “Nimbostratus” wins third prize at the Sky TV Awards and celebrates its television premiere on Sky. I play the lead role of Kate in the film.
As an actress, I am delighted to have won the Sky TV Award: a nine-member jury of experts selected the winners together with the Sky audience, who were able to vote for their favorite film. This year's jury included Marcus Ammon (Head of Film, Sky Deutschland), Bettina Ricklesfs (BR), and actresses such as Annika Ernst and Kai Schumann. An excerpt from the press release: "Jury member and actress Rebecca Immanuel had the following to say about the third-place winner, Nimbostratus by director Samuel Ackermann: ‘This film touched me deeply and left a lasting impression with its poetry and imaginative portrayal.’ Alexander Mazza hosted the award ceremony together with patron Prof. Regina Ziegler. The winning films were shown on TV for the first time on the evening of the award ceremony, starting at 8:15 p.m."
