For the South Korean television KBS, I developed new forms of 360-degree films: here we immerse ourselves in a concert of the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate
The Tagesschau news is reporting on our film project. We asked ourselves how we could open up completely new perspectives for viewers, so we developed a 360-degree format that allows viewers to experience cultural events from a new perspective. Here we are broadcasting a concert by the Rhineland-Palatinate State Philharmonic on South Korean television KBS. The audience is suddenly in the middle of the orchestra, very close to the conductor and musicians. They experience classical music from a completely new perspective, one they wouldn't be able to experience in a live concert. Even though we are restricted by the coronavirus, we can still experience culture in new ways.
